Lays Potato Chips - Value Proposition
This case study introduces students to the concept of value propositions using Lay’s Potato Chips as a real-world example. Students will study how quality, branding, and customer focus contribute to a company’s unique value proposition and why businesses need to communicate the value of their products to their customers clearly.
Through videos, discussions, and group activities, students will explore how Lay’s sources and selects potatoes, maintains product consistency, and differentiates itself from competitors. They will also get hands-on experience by creating their own snack product and crafting a compelling value proposition for it.
What Students Will Learn
